Effect of inoculation with Acaulospora and Glomus on the growth and nutrition of blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum) with different fertilization levels

In recent years, the global demand for blueberries has been growing because of its nutraceutical properties in fruits, which provide important benefits to human health. Colombia, thanks diversity, a great opportunity meet blueberry demands markets. present study, effect two arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) genera Glomus and Acaulospora were evaluated on growth plants var. Biloxi, subjected three levels chemical fertilization (100, 50 0%), with 100% level being optimal. The inoculated under conditions nutrient deficiency (50AMF1+) increased dry mass, height, number basal branches, leaf area, root/shoot ratio, chlorophyll concentration, significantly higher than without inoculation (0AMF- 50AMF-). achieved an increase while branches when grown (50AMF+1) relation uninoculated controls results suggested that best association occurs Glomus, plant nutrition (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S).
